Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Colombo
Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, meet our representative, and transfer to your hotel in Colombo, the commercial capital. Check-in and relax after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore the nearby areas or enjoy a leisurely evening walk through the city’s Galle Face Green, watching the sunset over the Indian Ocean. Overnight in Colombo.
Day 2: Pinnawala – Sigiriya – Dambulla
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to watch these magnificent creatures bathe and play. Continue to the ancient rock fortress of Sigiriya, climbing to the summit for stunning views of the surrounding jungle. Later, visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO site with magnificent Buddha statues and vibrant cave paintings. Overnight in Dambulla.
Day 3: Kandy – Temple of the Tooth – Cultural Dance
After breakfast, drive through scenic countryside to Kandy, Sri Lanka’s cultural capital. Visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic and witness traditional rituals. Explore a spice garden and see how local spices are grown. In the evening, enjoy a captivating cultural dance performance featuring fire-walking and traditional costumes.

Day 4: Nuwara Eliya – Tea Plantations – Scenic Train Ride
Early morning transfer to the railway station for one of the world’s most beautiful train journeys. Travel by train through misty mountains, cascading waterfalls, and rolling tea plantations to Nuwara Eliya. Visit a working tea factory to learn about tea production and sample fresh Ceylon tea. Explore the charming town with its colonial architecture and well-tended gardens. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 5: Colombo City Tour – Departure
After breakfast, return to Colombo for a city tour. Visit Gangaramaya Temple, admire the colonial architecture of the Old Parliament, and shop at Pettah Market or a premium souvenir outlet. Enjoy a final taste of Sri Lankan cuisine before your transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure flight.

Physical Requirements
This tour involves a moderate amount of walking, including climbing Sigiriya Rock (approx. 1,200 steps) and uneven terrain at temples. Comfortable walking shoes are essential.
What to Pack
Comfortable walking shoes, lightweight clothing (cotton is ideal), a light jacket for cooler hill country evenings, sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, insect repellent, a reusable water bottle, and your camera. A scarf or shawl is useful for temple visits.
Dress Code
When visiting temples and sacred sites, modest dress is required. Shoulders and knees should be covered. Shoes must be removed before entering temple premises.
Check-in/Out
Standard hotel check-in time is typically after 14:00. Check-out is usually before 12:00. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
